Clinical Psychologist
Larissa is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years' experience working across child, adolescent and family mental health settings. She brings extensive experience supporting young people experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural and school-related difficulties. She has previously worked within the Department for Education, giving her a strong understanding of school-based systems, educational adjustments and multidisciplinary collaboration. This experience allows her to work closely with families, schools and other professionals to develop a clear understanding of each young person's needs and provide practical, individualised support.
Larissa has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive presentations, school refusal and avoidance, and low engagement in learning. She provides evidence-based psychological interventions within a collaborative, family-inclusive framework, working alongside young people and their families to understand the challenges they are experiencing and develop strategies that support emotional wellbeing, confidence and engagement at home and at school.
Larissa is currently accepting new referrals and looks forward to supporting young people and their families at Sage Psychology.
